Love Awakening Band
Love Awakening was formed by Lisa Engleberg (singer/songwriter) and Eric Harris (guitar/drums/electronica). Joined by Anthony (vocalist/drums) and Michael Jaffe (guitar/drums/didgeridoo/electronica). Each bringing a unique sound to this eclectic conscious music jam band.
Lisa is the singer in the band and has been writing songs and poetry for the last few years. The lyrics are inspired by her journey to self-love. She has been singing since she was 5 years old publicly, but only recently has she found her true voice. Often the songs that are sung happen in the moment and are never written.
Eric is a guitarist and drummer in the band. He has played in Rock, Reggae, Jazz and Brazilian Samba groups. Eric worked as a music recording engineer in New York City, recording artists including Whitney Houston, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Branford Marsalis. and has been playing guitar and drums since the age of 7. Eric is known for using different guitar tunings to create unique sounds.
Michael plays a plethora of instruments, produces electronic music and has been musically improvising since a child. Michael plays the electric guitar that makes you feel like you are in a lullaby with all the sounds he creates in the moment.
Anthony is a world-renowned percussionist, vocalist and songwriter. He started playing drums in St Vincent in the 70s and facilitated drum circles and preformed with several bands in New York City in the 90s. Anthony facilitated and let several drum circles and taught drum classes in South Florida. He's the founder of Palm Beach Community Artist Performance and Presentations (PBCAPP) which expose several artists. He is the director of Milagro Teen Center which empowers teens assist them to graduate high school, preparing for college and expose them to Cultural Arts.
